Fruity Nails: China Glaze Electric Pineapple and Papaya Punch

in my last post I showed you China Glaze's Blue Iguana from their Island Escape collection. Since I really really like this summer collection, I put on two more polishes from that collection afterwards. Those are Electric Pineapple and Papaya Punch, the two creme polishes among the shimmer and glass flecked polishes.

Electric Pineapple is a dusty yellow with a hint of green. Right after I put it on I felt it does not really match my skin tone because I am pretty pale :) So I wanted to add something that stood out a bit more and I picked Papaya Punch which you see on my ring finger. Papaya Punch is a vivid orange and definitely an eye-catching color! It's not neon but still bright enough to freak out my camera. I only applied it on my ring finger as an accent. Initially I had planned to add some stamping but I found that Electric Pineapple is not pigmented enough (should have known that since it's a yellow...) so I just left it like this. For next summer I do need some bright stamping polishes (*note to myself*)!

For both polishes I used three coats each. It went on easily and dried quickly. Photos are taken with one coat of  Essence 60 seconds top coat.

That's it for today. Enjoy your Sunday!
