NOTD: OPI Grape... Set... Match topped with Servin' Up Sparkle

Hello my readers,

I recently received my US Ebay order and I could finally welcome my favourite Serena Williams Duo Glam Slam! England from OPI in my stash! This duo consists of the shimmery purple Grape...Set...Match and a glittery top coat entitled Servin' Up Sparkle.

Grape...Set...Match is a purple jelly base that is densly packed with blue und pink glitter. Actually there is so much glitter in the base color that to me it appears almost as a foil finish. I just love how it flashes purple, pink and blue depending on the light! Application was flawless, the polish was easy to control and I used three thin coats for full opacity. However you can also get away with two thicker coats.

I do love this color on its own but since it comes as a duo, I put one coat of Servin' Up Sparkle on top. This is a clear base with lots small round and some larger hexagonal holographic glitter particles. This polish was a little gooey, but that is ok since it helps the glitter to stay evenly distributed within the base. For me one coat of Servin' Up Sparkle was enough since I didn't want too much disctraction from the gorgeous base polish Grape...Set...Match. I just wish I could have gotten more of that hex glitter onto my nails.

What is your favourite Serena Williams duo?
That is it for today. Until next time and thanks for stopping by!
