Come And See My Polish Stash

Happy Monday everyone!

Since this blog is entitled My Polish Stash I think it finally is time to show you some pictures from my stash! I am still working on a spreadsheet of my collection but this might take a little while.

Until then, let me kindly introduce to you Alex - the cabinet where I store my nail polishes and everything nails! Most bloggers and nail polish lovers I know love to store their bottles in a cabinet called Helmer but I found this one goes better with the other furniture of the room (by the way, Alex is also available at Ikea :) ).

You can click all the images below to enlarge them if you'd like to see more details!

In the uppermost drawer I store all my nail care stuff. That is files, scissors, tweezers, rosewood sticks, cuticle butter, lotion, brushes, cotton balls and tons more.

The second drawer houses nail art equipment such as rhinestones, stamping plates and polishes, nail patches... Since I am not that talented when it comes to nail art, this one is still a little empty.

The third drawer is even more empty as this one harbors backups and polishes for swapping. Those Essence, Artdeco and BeYu polishes look kinda lonely and lost in that huge drawer.

Now we come to Alex's more interesting drawers :) This one contains base coats, top coats and special effect top coats on the right side. In the lower left corner there are Essence Color & Go polishes. Above those I store Catrice, Essence XXL Multidimension and limited edition polishes. There are also a few Maybelline, L'Oreal, H&M, Angès B. and MNY polishes. Right of the Color & Go bottles are P2, Kiko, Cherimoya and NYX nail polishes. In the back there's an assortment of glitters for nail art and frankens.

The fifth drawer contains mostly "international" nail polish brands. On the right there's China Glaze followed by A-England, Icing mood polishes and Finger Paints. In the middle we have NfuOh, Sinful Colors and some single Essie, Nails Inc, Amour and Misa bottles. Then there's Nubar and Kleancolor followed by Orly, Milani and Color Club. In the left corner are my OPIs, Illamasaquas and Chanels.

The last drawer of Alex is still empty so there is enough free space left for new nail polishes :)

How do you store and organize your nail polishes? Do you sort them by brand or color? And how do you keep track of the polishes you already own?

I hope you enjoyed this post!
- Sabine
