Essence Crystalliced LE - Iced Age Reloaded

Good evening everyone

and welcome to the second part of my Essence Crystalliced Limited Edition swatches! Last time I showed you Ice Eyes Baby and today I have for you Iced Age Reloaded.
I added a little macro view of the polish in the bottle this time to show you the shimmer. What do you think about it, do you like it or shall I skip it?

Iced Age Reloaded is a taupe or putty color with golden and a bit of purple shimmer in it. From all five polishes in the Crystalliced collection this is the one with the most obvious shimmer - at least in the bottle. But this shimmer shows up nicely on the nails, too!

As the base color is a bit sheer I used three coats of Iced Age Reloaded, no base or top coat. I had the feeling that this one was thinner than the other four polishes from the same collection. It wasn't runny at all though and application was flawless. Maybe that's also partly because of the brush which is wide but a bit flattened. I have to mention that the quality of the brushes in all my bottles of this collection was not that good! There were crooked bristles sticking out on the sides. Two bottles had bristles that were too long so I had to cut them. In addition, the bristles are stiff but that's not a big problem. Drying time however was good.

I like the colors in this collection. After the bright, vibrant colors in Summer and the dark, vampy shades in Fall these pastel shades are calming me down and appropriate for this season. Plus they're neutral colors that are perfect for any occasion ;) The only thing that's missing now is snow outside...

The Essence CrystallICEd collection is available in most German drugstores between January and February 2012. One bottle contains 8ml and retails for 1,79€. In the US Essence is sold by ULTA,  H-E-B and FredMyer. So far I couldn’t find out if this Limited Edition is coming to the US as well.

Thanks for reading and come back for the next swatch of the Essence Crystalliced LE!
