Essence Crystalliced LE - It's A Snow-Woman's World

Happy Wednesday

and welcome to my swatches of the very last Essence Crystalliced LE polish which is It's A Snow-Woman's World. And without much ado here is a bottle shot of it.

I consider It's A Snow-Woman's World a dusty periwinkle color. Or maybe it is a lavender color as it is leaning more towards purple than towards blue (but my camera likes to pull out the blue in colors). Anyway this is a nice creme base with purple shimmer. This shimmer is subtle - as is the case in all the Crystalliced polishes - but it is visible in the bottle. However, when I painted my nails with it it looked like a plain creme finish.

This is three coats of It's A Snow-Woman's World over Sally Hansen Nail Growth Miracle as a base coat and the Essence Better Than Gel Nails Top Sealer as a top coat. Application and drying time where good. I really like the color but there really isn't the smallest hint of shimmer on my nails :(

The three "darker" shades from this collection are my favorites as the two white shades are not the most flattering ones on me. Still I was really surprised to find me liking all those light colors as I am ususally a big fan of vibrant bright or vampy colors :)

The Essence CrystallICEd collection is available in most German drugstores between January and February 2012. One bottle contains 8ml and retails for 1,79€. In the US Essence is sold by ULTA,  H-E-B and FredMyer. I don't know if this collection will come to the US but if you can find it somewhere near your I recommend picking it up!

I hope you enjoyed my swatches! Let me know what you think of this collection!

Thanks for reading,
- Sabine
