Essence Crazy Good Times - Confetteria Swatches & Review

Happy Tuesday!

In my last post I showed you Candyction from Essence's recent Limited Edition Crazy Good Times and today I have for you another polish from that collection. Confetteria is a beautiful royal blue jelly with large hexagonal blue and small round silver and turquoise glitter in it. When I saw this in store it reminded me of Blue Addicted from their Color&Go standard range. When I compared those two polishes at home they were pretty different though because Confetteria lacks the green hex glitter and the base is more blue and not as dusty as in Blue Addicted.

For this manicure I used two coats of Confetteria without base or top coat. Unlike Blue Addicted Confetteria gave good coverage with those two coats. Application was okay for this one. It is a bit on the thick side but managable. However you need a light touch so that one doesn't drag the glitter all the way up to the tip of the nail. It dried a bit dull and bumpy so one or two layers of top coat would give it more shine and a smooth surface. I think top coat might also add some depth to this polish.

I got Confetteria from my local Rossmann drugstore and this was the only shop where I could find a display of Crazy Good Times! I don't know if this limited edition will also come to the other drugstores like DM or IhrPlatz here in Germany. And the displays are small and the good stuff sells out fast so watch out for those! One bottle contains 8ml and retails for 1,79€. Those should available throughout February 2012 or as long as stocks last ;)

I got two more Crazy Good Times polishes for you so stay tuned for those!
Thanks for reading,
- Sabine
