Zoya - Tao

Good evening and happy Friday!

Another week full of work is done and I hope everyone is fine out there! After a busy week I will take those two days off from stress and worries and relax a bit and do the things I love - which would be polishing my nails in the first place, haha. I also bought some goodies to make those pretty nail polish rings I keep seeing everywhere. I like the idea of having a matching ring to my manicure so I will give it a try. I will let you know how it works out ;)

Today I have another Zoya polish to show you. Tao was released as part of the Smokes & Mirrors collection in Fall 2011. The color is a smoky grey with fine silver shimmer.

This was two easy coats with base and top coat. I am not a fan of plain silver metallic or foil polishes but Zoya Tao is different. It's not just a silver but a mixture between grey and silver which looks elegant. The shimmer in Tao is much sparklier in person but somehow my lightbox setup makes shimmer polishes look dull. So I am still trying to figure out how to improve the lighting setup. I might get another lamp for direct lighting which seems to work better for shimmer and holographic polishes.

I got my Zoya polishes from where they retail for $6.99 per bottle. This e-tailer ships internationally.

That's it for today, thanks for looking!
Have a great weekend.
