Dollish Polish - Team Salvatore over Catrice - Bloody Mary To Go and NfuOh - 132

Hello everyone

and happy Wednesday!
If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram you might have seen me posting all those nail mail pictures of indie polish brands lately. What can I say, they're all so gorgeous! I keep stalking Etsy to not miss the re-opening of the stores because all those swatches on other blogs make me drool over those polishes. One of those brands that really got me hooked is Dollish Polish. She makes custom nail polishes inspired by movies, TV series or music. While I was browsing her shop I saw a polish named Team Salvatore and I instantly knew I needed this in my life. Not only because I love The Vampire Diaries but also because it is an awesome glitter polish! As it is glitter suspended in a clear base this one is made for layering. And to match the vampire theme and the colors of Team Salvatore I painted it over red and black.

Team Salvatore has small silver hex glitter and some sparse small red hex glitter as well as silver microglitter. What I really love about it is the larger black hex and square glitter in there  - I am a sucker for black glitter, haha - and the red square glitter. I wanted all colors of the glitter to pop so I applied it over red and black. The red is Catrice Bloody Mary to Go, a super pretty bright blood red jelly polish. The black is NfuOh 132, a plain black creme. I did two coats of each before applying one coat of Team Salvatore. It isn't too thick so it is easy to work with. The larger square glitter tends to sink to the bottom of the bottle so I give it a good shake or place it upside down for a while before use. This one doesn't leave a gritty finish hence one coat of Poshé Fast Dry Topcoat was enough to get it smooth and shiny.
I am still trying to find the perfect fast dry topcoat for me but it seems like I have to look further. Seche Vite, Essence BTGN Top Sealer and Poshé give me shrinkage :( If I wrap my tips it's fine but I still get shrinkage around the cuticles. Next in line is Essie Good To Go.

If you would like to try some Dollish Polishes now head over to here Etsy store! It's closed at the moment as she's mixing polishes to ship out but you can also follow her on Twitter for latest updates on when her shop will open again. You better be quick because her creations sell out super fast! Dollish Polishes retail for $9 per full-size bottle (15ml) and she ships internationally.

What is your "go to fast dry top coat" for glitter polishes? Have you tried any indie polish so far and what's your opinion on them? Let me know!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day,
<3 Sabine
