Catrice - ACid/DC (810)

Good evening!

How are you doing? I hope everyone had a great weekend! Mine passed much to quick as usual. I didn't even find the time to paint my nails so they have been naked for about 4 days now. But maybe this isn't too bad after all because that way I can pamper them a bit and hopefully get rid of some cracks. I don't know why but my right thumb nail always cracks at exactly the same spot. So right now I am trying the Sally Hansen VitaSurge Strength Gel and see if it helps with the cracks. By the way, would you guys be interested in reviews on products I use for nail and hand care?

On to the polish! The weather here has been really depressing lately - cloudy, rainy and cold, not very Spring-like. So I went with something bright and fun on my nails instead. ACid/CD (810) became part of Catrice's standard range this year and it is a vibrant acid green with a subtle shimmer.

ACid/DC was perfect in two coats and I really like this polish! The base color is similar to Colourbration from the Essence Crazy Good Times collection (here) but ACid/DC has a subtle shimmer instead of sparkly glass flecks. It might not be the most wearable color for everyday life but it's surely fun to wear on a party or such. If I ever buy a new car I would want it to be this color, haha ;)
Catrice polishes are sold at IhrPlatz and DM drugstores in Germany and they retail for 2,49€ each. ACid/DC is now part of their standard range for Spring/Summer 2012.

Have a great week and thanks for watching,
<3 Sabine
