Better late than never: My May hauls Pt. 1

Happy hump day!

I am back. Back from my little trip and back to blogging. I just realized it's been almost a week since my last post. Where did my time go? Recently I feel like everything is simply flying by too fast. And as I am still writing my PhD thesis I have a lot of non-polish stuff on my mind.
Anyways, since many of you requested to see last month's polish findings we'll start with some bottle spam right away. And because I bought way too much polish last month (just like every month, whoops ;)) I decided to split this into two posts. Today I have for you the major brand polishes and the second post will be about my indie polish haul, so stay tuned for that! For close up bottle shots read on after the jump!

First up is the Summer collection I have been looking forward to most - the China Glaze Summer Neons. So far I got 10 out of the 12 polishes but I guess I will need the missing two as well ;) The only downside is that in almost all the pink shades and the green one the shimmer sinks to the bottom and I have to shake and roll vigorously before application...

Ride The Waves & Splish Splash
I'm With The Lifeguard & Love's A Beach
Orange You Hot? & Surfin' For Boys
Flirty Tankini & Pink Plumeria
Under The Boardwalk & Beach Cruiser

Next up are some Cult Nails polishes. This may not be a major brand but I decided to include it in this post to prevent my indie polish haul post from exploding ;)

Then I got me my very first Anny polishes from Douglas. So far I successfully managed to avoid them as they're pricey with 9,50€ per bottle. I liked those so much I had to take them home anyway ;) Hello Hollywood may look like a Peridot dupe but it is much coller toned than the Chanel polish!

At the local drugstore I picked up some polishes from Catrice, P2, Essie and Essence. All of those are part of a limited edition for Spring 2012.

Catrice - Exotica & P2 - Pearly Blue

Essie - Olé Caliente & Essence - Mauve Like A Rockstar

Those are all the polishes I got from major brands last month. I hope you liked them! I have to admit most of them are still untried so if you would like to see a particular polish on my blog soon, let me know!

Have a great day and don't forget to watch the Germany vs. Netherlands soccer match tonight ;)
