and thank you so much for all the congratulations for my exam, I feel the love :D
Today I want to share with you a polish I got in a swap with the lovely Hannah from PollyPolish. Kudos to her for hunting this down for me! This is the new version of GOSH's Holographic Hero, a silver linear holo nail polish. I missed out on their previous version, mainly because my love (ok, let's face it, it is more an obsession) for nail polish wasn't as pronounced back then and second, because GOSH is a UK brand that is not available here. So I do not know if this Holographic polish is any different from its predecessor, but I love the current one!
For holographic nail polishes I like to use the NfuOh Aqua Basecoat, because it makes them last longer. Sadly, all holos I have tried so far were chip-tastic and GOSH Holographic Hero is no exception. It lasted two days without any chips of cracks. Here I did two thin coats and no topcoat. I feel that topcoat dulls the holo effect, but maybe I just haven't found the right one, yet. In real life the linear holo effect is even stronger, but my camera swallows a bit of its beauty.
I hope you liked this "welcome back" manicure :) And please let me know which top coats you use for holos! Or do you always show them off without one?
