Pre-Christmas Nails: Ninja Polish - No Peeking! and China Glaze - Merry Berry

Happy Friday everyone

and it is good to see all of you are still alive and well. Seems like the Maya were wrong predicting the end of the world. So well all live to see another day - and another Christmas-y manicure :D Today I decided to go with China Glaze Merry Berry from their recent Holiday collection. As an accent nail I used another polish from my beloved Ninja Polish Holiday collection named No Peeking!.

Merry Berry gave me a bit of trouble during application. It just went on patchy and uneven, so I had to do three thin coats to even it out as much as possible. However I will give this polish another try, because I really want to love it since its color is so pretty.
No Peeking! is another polish from the Ninja Polish Holiday 2012 collection and is described as "a bright, vibrant fun glitter polish. It is opaque in 2 coats thanks to the ultra fine and small green glitters. Scattered in amogst the green (tree!) you will find red and blue squares (are these presents?! or ornaments?!) and yellow hexes (more oranments maybe?) and an occasional shining holographic star to top the tree!" I didn't try to get this opaque. Instead, I layered one coat over OPI Jade Is The New Black. You get a fair amount of glitter onto your nails with just one coat and you don't even have to fish for the stars. Except for the blue square "taco" glitter, everything lies down nicely. To get it smooth I used two coats of INM Out The Door.

I am still not 100% sure what I am going to wear for Christmas. Have you decided what will be on your nails for the Holidays? Have a great day!
