Manicure recycling: Essence - Gold Fever & China Glaze - Riveting

Happy Friday everyone!

Another week over, wow. I hope you had a good one and have something nice to do this weekend! We had planned to meet friends for BBQ and football on Sunday, but now that Germany isn't in the tournament anymore, we might skip that part ;) Oh well, it is just football and there are more important things than that, right?! Right, so on to the polish part of this post!
Remember my China Glaze Riveting manicure I showed you in the beginning of this week and how amazed I was by that color? Well it had some tip wear after two days but still I didn't want to take it off because I loved the color so much. Due to that - and lack of time to be honest - I decided to stick with it a little longer and simply give it a little "lifting". On my search for a matching color I reached for Essence Color & Go Gold Fever and sponged that on top of Riveting.

NOTD: China Glaze - Riveting

Happy Monday everyone!

I hope it is more summery where you are. It's been raining heavily all day long here and the weather isn't anything like Summer even though it's already end of June - meh. So I decided to go with something sunny on my nails. I recently did a swap with the lovely Jacqui from Scholarly Nail and she was so kind to get some of the China Glaze Capitol Colors for me. Among them was Riveting, a wonderful bright glass-flecked orange shade I want to share with you today.

Darling Diva Polish - Dusky Sky

Hello lovelies,

after all this bottle spam lately let's get back to some polished nails ;) I really hope you are not annoyed, yet by all those independent polishes I have been posting recently because I am back with another great indie polish! This is Dusky Sky from Darling Diva Polish. It was Crystal who made me buy this after I had seen so many great pictures of Darling Diva Polishes on her blog. So along with Dusky Sky three other polishes had to come home with me. I went with this one first because I was in the mood to wear a holographic polish again, which I haven't in quite a while.

My May hauls Pt.2 - The Indies

Happy Saturday everyone!

In my last post I showed you my major brands' hauls from last month. Today I have for you all the indie polishes I got in May. Most of them are from Etsy and I swear this site is the death of my wallet! It is amazing to see more and more of those self-made creations popping up every day and to be honest I tend to like most of them. So here is what's new in my stash. Grab yourself a cup of coffee, lean back and enjoy the bottle spam ;)

Better late than never: My May hauls Pt. 1

Happy hump day!

I am back. Back from my little trip and back to blogging. I just realized it's been almost a week since my last post. Where did my time go? Recently I feel like everything is simply flying by too fast. And as I am still writing my PhD thesis I have a lot of non-polish stuff on my mind.
Anyways, since many of you requested to see last month's polish findings we'll start with some bottle spam right away. And because I bought way too much polish last month (just like every month, whoops ;)) I decided to split this into two posts. Today I have for you the major brand polishes and the second post will be about my indie polish haul, so stay tuned for that! For close up bottle shots read on after the jump!

Back to bright Summer colors: Dollish Polish - Bikini Bottom

Hi lovelies,

remember how in my last post I said I needed a break from all those bright summer colors? That break is already over again because today I have a super bright polish for you! It is Dollish Polish Bikini Bottom, which is a bold almost neon coral color with sparkly golden flecks in it. If I can't have Summer outside I need to at least wear it on my nails, right?! ;) So put your sunglasses on, here is Bikini Bottom!

NOTD: Nubar - Absolute or: Taking a break from bright Summer colors

Good evening!

I hope your eyes have recovered from all those great Floam manicures that were blogged recently :) It was so much fun participating and seeing all your takes on a Floam mani. And thank you everyone for stopping by and commenting on my Floam post! Hours after posting this one jumped to No. 1 of my most popular posts - wow. And one more thank you to all the new readers that subscribed to my blog on that day. I hope you like it here!

So after all those neon, bright and bold manicures I did recently I thought it was time for something more decent yet summery. So I pulled out a polish from my stash that I just have to share with you! It is Nubar Absolute from the 2010 Prisms collection. This was one of my first Nubars but strangely it has been sitting in my untrieds drawer ever since. I wish I had worn this sooner because it is so pretty!
