You probably expected a new Polish Days manicure on my blog today and I am sorry for disappointing you. The last couple of days and weekends were pretty busy and I simply didn't get around to doing a "Seven Deadly Sins" themed manicure. In fact my nails have been naked for a couple of days now. The last polish I wore was The Age Of Aquarius by Pretty & Polished and I want to share this beauty with you today. But be assured, that I will participate in next month's Polish Days event again!
Does anybody else think of a song from the late 60s by the band The 5th Element when you hear the name The Age Of Aquarius?! "This is the dawning of the age of aquarius, age of aquarius..." I blame my parents for putting this flower power music into my head, lol. While I am not a fan of the music, I really like the polish. Age Of Aquarius is part of Pretty & Polished's Zodiac collection. It is a milky blue base color with white, blue and silver hex glitter of various sizes. I did two coats that applied like a dream. The large blue hexes were a bit hard to get out and I had to fish for them, but that didn't really bother me. I loved the final result and I was surprised how well the color went with my pale skin.
I am not sure if Age Of Aquarius is permanent or not. At least I cannot find it on the Pretty & Polished homepage right now. Be sure to check her shop for eventual restocks and more pretty polishes :) A full-size bottle retails for $9.
I hope you're all having a fabulous evening. See you soon,
