Saran Wrap manicure using Models Own ICE Neons

Good evening everyone!

*studs were provided for review

It is finally getting warmer and sunnier here, so it's about time to pull out those colorful nail polishes. And what would be more appropriate than a bright neon color to pay homage to those first rays of sunlight? In my last "What's new in my stash" post I mentioned I got two of Models Own's ICE Neons and I thought these two combined would make a perfect Summer manicure. Using the two colors Pukka Purple and Pink Punch, I created my first Saran wrap manicure. Well, actually I didn't use Saran wrap, but fresh foil instead. The final result was almost blinding and fun to look at, but see for yourself :)

I painted my thumb and middle finger with one coat of Pukka Purple. Yes, one coat! It is on the thick side, but still manageable. This shade isn't exactly a neon, but still an awesome color! In contrast, Pink Punch is more of a jelly finish. It took me three coats to get it opaque. I just la-la-love this fluorescent reddish pink! My photos are not doing it justice, it is no much more vibrant in person. Models Own recommends storing the ICE Neons refrigerated to prevent the fluorescent color from fading. I don't think I'll do that, because otherwise my boyfriend will surely think I've finally gone crazy ;) I will just keep it in my Alex along with my other polishes and see if the color changes over time (which I hope won't happen).
To add a little something to the accent nail, I applied some small golden studs. You can find them at BornPrettyStore.com for little money and if you use the code KYL91, you will get 10% off your entire order.

And with this, I am off to inhale the last bits of daylight - on my balcony with a nice glass of wine. Have a nice evening and thanks so much for stopping by!
