Hello fellow nail polish enthusiasts!
I was so excited when the lovely and talented Sabine asked me to do a guest blog spot for her, I couldn't be happier to oblige! I thought long and hard on what nail polish I wanted to feature and I finally decided on OPI "Get Your Number". This is a beautiful glitter filled blue polish from their Mariah Carey collection. I'm not sure why this lovely lacquer sat in my untried stash for so long but what a mistake that was because I couldn't love it more! If you haven't tried any of the liquid sand polishes by OPI you are truly missing out. I'm not usually a big fan of texture polishes but these gritty finish polishes are very easy to work with, durable and very striking. I will show you pictures of a manicure using the polish without top coat and then pictures with top coat. I hope you like it as much as I do!
This is 2 coats of "Get Your Number" with no base coat and no top coat. I thought the formula was fast drying and easy to work with. It is opaque in 2 coats. The holographic glitters that are mixed in really catch the eye!
Here I am wearing 2 coats of "Get Your Number" with 2 coats of Seche Vite Fast dry top coat. As Sabine said in a previous blog this is a "thirsty" polish and definitely needs 2 coats of top coat. Personally I really love and prefer this beautiful polish with a glossy finish. The gloss gives the polish so much depth and it really shines beautifully while catching the light!
Overall OPI "Get Your Number" is durable, easy to use and really stunning. If you are able to find this beauty please snatch it up, you will not regret it. Thanks for taking the time to read my first official blog entry and thank you Sabine for the opportunity! If you enjoyed these swatches please check me out on Instagram @kellytattoo for many more!
