New In My Stash Vol. 5

Happy hump day!

I haven't done my monthly New In My Stash posts in a while. The last one was in July and I did not buy a lot during August and September to show you a haul post. Thus, I figured I will do a collective "What's new in my stash" post every once in a while instead of monthly. I already showed you the things I got during my holidays in Spain. In this post, I will show you the other polishes that made it into my collection recently. This time, I did not include any make up, since I did not buy anything new. I need to play with what I have first and also I need to safe some money for my trip to the US in December ;)

First up are two Kiko polishes from their Quick Dry range. I do not know if this is new or if it's been around for a while. I only spotted these polishes during my last visit at a Kiko store. This color is called 802 Golden Rose, which is exactly what it is - a muted pink with golden shimmer.

The second shade I got is 833 Pearly Sky Blue. I haven't tried these, yet, but fingers crossed they'll perform well! Let me know your experiences with this Kiko Quick Dry range in case you have tried them!

Also from Kiko I bought this 436 Strong Chocolate color from their recent Dark Heroine limited edition. You can see swatches of it here.

I finally got my hands on Essie's Fishnet Stockings. I believe it was part of a limited edition before, but I did not buy it back then. So when it was re-released in their Russian Roulette LE here in Germany, I headed to the drugstore to pick it up. It is a red perfect for Fall!

While browsing the drugstore, I came across the new Manhattan Limited Edition by Bonnie Strange. I don't really care for Bonnie Strange (who seems to be some kind of it girl here in Germany), but the color 006 (Manhattan, please finally start printing actual names on the bottle!) caught my eye. It is a jelly purple with golden multichrome shimmer particles in it *__*

I needed a reddish purple to layer the above nail polish over, so I threw Maybelline Color Show in the shade Noite De Gal into the basket. I have no idea what that means, even though I tried to google for a translation. Maybe Maybelline forgot to print an 'a' and probably meant Noite De Gala, which is Portuguese for Gala Night. I might be completely wrong though.

I stumbled upon the Maybelline Vintage Leather polishes, which I though would be their take on a textured polish. Since I love the textured finish, I bought Mudslide Tote, a muted khaki green. Turned out this is probably the ugliest polish I ever bought. It is a matte finish with weird translucent shredded glitter in there. It is not textured at all, neither does it remind me of vintage leather. Let me know if you would like to see swatches of this anyway!

Last but not least, I raided the new P2 display. P2 is a brand that is exclusive to DM drugstores here in Germany and they have come out with quite a few pretty things recently. Of course I had to get one of their Sand Style polishes ;) I went for the shade Opulent, which is a deep teal with color shifting small glitter in it. I hope this effect will show up on the nails as well, because a duochrome textured finish would be really cool!

P2 also released some glitter nail polishes. These Lost In Glitter polishes are so densely packed, that you can wear them on their own, not only as a topper. I like my nails bold, so I went for the chartreuse color Start Wild.

These are all the polishes I bought during the past two months. I really tried to limit my purchases to a minimum this time, so I did not order aynthing from overseas. When I am going to the US, I hope to find some of the OPI, China Glaze and Zoya collections for Winter/Holiday 2013. I am already making a wishlist, haha.

Thanks for stopping by, until next time!
