Barry M Hi-Shine Gelly ~ Watermelon & CND ~ Sheer 24K Sparkle

Hi loves,

are you excited for the weekend? I am, because I need some time off to recover. I've been sick for a couple of days now and a busy work schedule did not really help make me feel better. This weekend I am going to stay in bed with my PJs, a hot tea and a hot water bottle.
So today I have a rather quick post for you, but I have to show this polish to you because I love it so much. This is Watermelon from the Gelly Hi-Shine range by Barry M. I have raved about these earlier (see Passionfruit and Key Lime and Lychee) and this one is just as perfect.

The first picture represents the actual color better, the second one was taken closer to my daylight lamp and makes the polish look a bit lighter than it actually is. Just so you know ;)
Barry M Watermelon is a deep teal green color, which makes it a perfect winter color. This one is densely pigmented and can be opaque with one thicker coat. Since I am a creature of habit, I applied two coats for this manicure. The Hi-Shine Gelly polishes are a bit on the thicker side, but still they're easy to work with.
To add a little something I applied one coat of CND Effects Sheer 24K Sparkle on top. I love that this gold topper has almost see-through glitter which makes it look very subtle on the nails.

Have you tried any of Barry M's Hi-Shine Gelly polishes? Again I wish we had this brand in German drugstores, they make some fabulous polishes. Luckily, they're available in several online stores over here now, so yay for that :D

Have a great weekend, stay safe and healthy and thanks for stopping by!
