I hope you all had a nice weekend, lots of food on Thanksgiving and a relaxing first advent! Did you go shopping on Black Friday and get some good deals?
When I was recently sent the newest Manhattan limited edition called Visions Of Me Sugar Effect Nail Polish, I couldn't help but think of OPI Liquid Sand and Kiko Sugar Mat polishes (I already compared these here). The shades looked so familiar to me. So I dug through my stash and did a little comparison for you. The collection consists of three shades with a glittery textured finish.
The first shade is a vivid orange color called Coral Glam. In the bottle and on the nail this looks exactly like Jinx from OPI or Poppy Red 640 Sugar Mat from Kiko cosmetics. Not only do these three look the same, also texture-wise I couldn't tell them apart. Coral Glam is opaque with two coats and dried quickly.
Glitter For Life is a deep burgundy color with blue, fuchsia and gold microglitter. This one is again similar to a Kiko Sugar Mat nail polish. 645 Burgundy is a tadbit darker compared to the Manhattan shade. Glitter For Life is more sheer. This is two coats of each polish. If you do three coats of Glitter For Life, it looks extremely similar to Burgundy.
Last but not least is Give Me Sparkle, a black textured polish with silver glitter. This one is more sparkly than it appears on my photo. I don't have a dupe for this in my stash, but looking at pictures I think is one is comparable to Kiko's 646 Starry Black. This covered nicely with two coats.
All in all, I enjoyed this little collection. The shades are not new, but if you missed the Kiko or OPI shades I recommend picking these up. They're available now in German DM, Rossmann and Müller stores for 2,99€ each.
Thanks for reading!
