Fishy Stamping Manicure

Happy Sunday everyone,

I hope you all are enjoying the first weekend of 2014 :) I sure am, but I am also a bit sad. Today I took down the Christmas decorations - Holiday season is finally over. And after three weeks of absence from the lab I have to go back to work tomorrow morning. Meh.
This weekend I pulled out my MoYou stamping plates and practiced some more. I also wanted to finally try the polishes from Mexico I got in a swap. I ended up using Bissu - 226 Azul Quemado (which according to Google Translate means Burnt Blue) as my base color and China Glaze - Adore for stamping. The images I used are from MoYou Sailor plate 05.

You're actually seeing my right hand here - shocker! ;) I don't know how I did it, but the stamping turned out much clearer on my right hand than on my left swatch hand. I also went back to a more oval nail shape, because I broke a few edges during my trip to the US.
BTW, I am still wondering how you guys remove a bad stamped design without ruining the polish on your other hand. Please let me know! I tried rubber gloves (don't laugh!), but nail polish remover seeps through them.

Thank you for stopping by, have a lovely day!
