I hope you all had a not too stressful week and have a nice weekend ahead of you. Today is my first time taking part in The Lacquer Legion. The concept is similar to the former Polish Days, where nail polish lovers once a month post manicures according to a certain theme. The theme for March is "Lucky". Honestly, whenever I hear the word lucky these days the song "Get Lucky" by Daft Punk pops up in my head. Next I'd think of Lucky Charms - yummy. Still for my lucky manicure I went with a very obvious design - a four-leave clover and a classical gold and green color combination.
To create the clover I used the drag marble technique, where I simply made four dots with a dotting tool and then dragged the polish towards the middle with a toothpick. As a base I used OPI My Vampire Is Buff. For the clover and the lines I used Bissu Verde Bandera. The lighter green I used for the dots on my pinky nail is Kiko Grass Green. The fine green glitter is Tree of Lights and the golden glitter is Shattered Star, both from Ninja Polish.
I am so glad this month I managed to come up with a manicure in time and I will surely take part in future Lacquer Legion prompts! I cannot wait to see what everyone else comes up with.
Thanks for stopping by, have a great weekend!
