Today is day two in the Nail Art April challenge and today's theme is weather. Over here, we have contrary weather most of the time in April. One day the sun is shining, the other day it can be raining cats and dogs. At the moment it is actually really nice and sunny. Fingers crossed it will stay like this!
For today's nails I wanted to do stamped skittles with a sun, rain and cloud design. Well, it turned out that despite the plenty of nail art plates I own, there was only a rain drop design on them and no suns or such - note to self: must get an image plate with suns and clouds soon!
The base color on my nails is Barry M Hi-Shine Gelly in Blue Grape. I adore this bright royal blue color! The consistency and pigmentation is good and it does not leave any stains behind. The stamping was done with the rain drop design from MoYou image plate Tourist 05 and the silver stampy polish from Essence. I topped everything of with the Quickie fast dry top coat from Underground Cosmetics. A thorough review of this top coat will follow soon! I just want to test drive this a bit longer.
I do hope I am not foreshadowing any changes in the weather, but I admit I like this rain drop design and hopefully so do you :)
