New In My Stash Vol.7

Hi everyone!

I have been slacking on the nail art lately and I am sorry for skipping another day of the April Nail Art Challenge. I haven't been feeling my best those past couple of days, plus work and job hunting kept me super busy, too. Today is another of those "meh" days and honestly I am not in the mood to paint my nails. Still I wanted to blog and thought it was about time for another What's New In My Stash post. This time this is only about nail polish. I did buy some make up items those past few months, but these I will show you in a separate haul post, so stay tuned for that! If you want to know which polishes moved into my stash recently, read on after the jump!

New In My Stash Vol 7_Kiko Cupcake Nail LacquerFirst up are a few of the Kiko Cupcake Nail Lacquers. Being the textured nail polish lover that I am, I needed these in my life. On a trip to Regensburg last month I was lucky enough to come across a Kiko store and the nail polish hoarder in me screamed "Buy them all!". Gladly, rationality took over and I went home with only five of the 10 shades they carry. These are 647 Jasmine, 650 Peach, 652 Lilac (see it in action here), 655 Mint and 656 Pistachio. By the way, if you want to get those, they are currently on sale (*click*) :)

New In My Stash Vol 7_OPI TJmaxxAlso in Regensburg I went to TJmaxx (or TKmaxx as it is called in Germany) and found some discounted OPI duo sets. I have been searching for a good white nail polish for nail art and wanted to try Alpine Snow, so I got it in a set with Sweet Heart, a light pink that will be perfect for job interviews ;) The second set I bought consisted of Black Cherry Chutney, a deep plummy shade with burgundy shimmer, and The Thrill Of Brasil, which reminds me of Big Apple Red.

New In My Stash Vol 7_OPI Sheer Tints

When I first heard of the OPI Sheer Tints I was sure I would not want them, because who needs a tinted top coat?! Then I saw all these fellow bloggers come up with super pretty designs and I finally caved and got all four. They are perfect for watercolor nails (see here) and I love the effect they give. I need to play with them more soon!

New In My Stash Vol 7_Zoya
In a make up swap with Marketta aka PinkPolishAddict I got Zoya Noot and Yara, which are shades perfect for Fall. In a recent group order all the way from Japan I got Zoya Brigitte from their Nudes collection.

New In My Stash Vol 7_Nubar Crushed CandyIn that same group order I got three of the Nubar Crushed Candy polishes. These are neon matte glitters in a clear base. They are so colorful and fun, and again I had a hard time not simply throwing all of them into the cart. The ones I ended up getting are Cotton Candy Crush, Berry Blue Crush and Orange Slice Crush.

New In My Stash Vol 7_OPI Brazil polishes

Of course I couldn't pass on some of the OPI Brazil polishes for Summer 2014. I picked Toucan Do It If You Try, Taupe-less Beach and Amazon...Amazoff.

New In My Stash Vol 7_various

Last but not least a few "random" polishes moved into my stash. The Suncoat polish in the shade Pink Dahlia I got from an online shop for organic makeup. It is water-based, does not contain any nasty chemicals and is supposed to be peeled off. I wanted this for my toes, because I hate removing polish on my toes, so I hope that'll make things easier ;)
From the recent Essie Spring collection I got Hide & Go Chic, a muted azure blue creme. From the Kiko Fancy Top Coat collection I got 661 Magenta, which consists of small magenta colored hex glitter and silver holographic hearts in a clear base. I cannot exactly tell why I bought this, because now it looks really tacky to me. Also at TJmaxx I found this pretty sparkly blue glitter nail polish from Orly called Angel Eyes.
On my 30s birthday I got my very first Koh nail polish from my friend Anna. It is called Play Daily and is a deep forest green with fine silver shimmer. I am really excited to try this!

As you can see, I acquired quite a few polishes during the past 2 months or so and with this I am officially putting myself on a no buy until the end of May! My boyfriend and I just booked a trip to London for the beginning of June and I really want to safe some money for that. So instead of spending money at the store, I will "shop my stash" and see what I have and what I need to wear more!

Thanks for reading, until next time!
