this year three of my friends turned 30 and they decided to organize a 90s party together, which took place last weekend. Since I turned 30 this March, too, they also asked me to join, but a 120s party does not sound quite as cool, does it!?
We were supposed to dress up in 90s fashion, but sadly (or rather thank god, just think neon crop tops, platform shoes and flashy windbreakers... yikes) I did not keep any of my outfits from then. So I went with 90s appropriate nails instead.
On my index and ring finger I went with a neon tie dye design. To achieve this, I painted my nails with OPI - Alpine Snow as a base. I then added drops of China Glaze - Flip Flop Fantasy, Towel Boy Toy, Kiwi Cool-ada, Orly - Glowstick and Melt Your Popsicle and swirled them together with a toothpick. The black and white glitter is Coverband - Sticks 'n Stones.
My middle finger has China Glaze - Flip Flop Fantasy as a base, stamped with the black Essence stamping polish and an I <3 90s image from MoYou Rebel plate 04.
Finally, on my pinkie nails I stamped smilies from Bundle Monster plate BM-304 over Orly - Glowstick.
I think these are totally 90s party appropriate nails :)
Also, as you can see, my nails are back to shorties again. In my last post I realized they were quite a bit too long for my liking and I was tired of renewing the patch on my middle finger anyway, to I decided to just cut them. I hope you do not mind me switching back and forth between short and long nails.
