Sephora Haul

Good evening!

When announced that they were now shipping to Germany the news came like a thunderbolt and spread like a wildfire across the beauty community. Of course I had to go to their website, add all the things I have been lusting after into my cart and was shocked to see how much money one can spend on make up and skin care items. Instead of ordering I went to bed and decided to make a wishlist of the things I really wanted and set myself a limit of money I'd spend. So here it is, my very first Sephora haul. By the way, I still cannot get over the fact that they do not ship nail polish... Farewell Formula X... sigh....

make up haul

One item that immediately jumped into my cart was the Kat von D Chrysalis palette. I had seen numerous swatches of it and loved the colors. This is actually my very first non-neutral eyeshadow palette :D I am slowly but steadily stepping out of my comfort zone. Since I have hazel eyes I think I will get a lot of use out of these purple and blue hues.
The Anastasia Brow Wiz in medium brown was a no-brainer since so many people rave about this product. I am happy to finally have found a cool-toned shade for my brows!
The Tarte EmphasEYES Waterproof Clay Shadow / Liner in brown comes with a brush, but I cannot seem to find it anywhere. I have used it numerous times and love the color and texture and how well it wears.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Luminous Flush

Of course I also had to finally try one of Tarte's Amazonian Clay Blushes. The shade I got is called Dazzled. The Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush is in the color Luminous Flush and is amazing!

Bite Beauty Shiraz

Another brand I have been wanting to try for a long time was Bite Beauty. This brand seems to be the next best thing when it comes to lipsticks. I went for the shade Shiraz from their Luminous Crème Lipstick range. I haven't worn this often, because I think the soft plum shade will be more suitable for fall. But I can already tell it is very creamy and feels comfortable on the lips.
For Summer, I purchased the Too Faced liquid lipstick in Melted Coral. Oh my, I adore this color. The bright corally orange is right up my alley.

cover fx cc cream

From Marlena from Make Up Geek I learned about the brand Cover FX. I was in need of a new tinted moisturizer for everyday wear and their CC Cream Time Release Tinted Treatment SPF 30 got good reviews on Paula's Choice, so I decided to give it a go. I got the lightest neutral shade, which sadly is a tadbit too dark for me (yes, I am that pale...). Surprisingly, the lightest neutral shade from their Natural Finish Oil Free Foundation matches me well. In the picture you can see that the CC cream is much darker than the foundation.
Estée from Essie Button has been talking a lot about the Tarte Mineral Foundation. I love mineral make up, especially during the summer, when I do not feel like wearing liquid foundation, because it melts right off my face. I still need to try this, so fingers crossed it is good!

FAB Face Cleanser

Last but not least, I ordered a tube from the First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser. I have a hard time finding a gentle, soap-free cleanser that does not irritate my skin. I am currently trying to finish a giant bottle of a Korres cleanser before I will open this one.
The Josie Maran Argan Daily Moisturizer I got as a sample. I like that it has a high SPF and I wish we had something similar in German drugstores.

A little more info on ordering from Shipping is 10€ when your order is 75€ or more. This may seem like a lot, but it is definitely a good price. They ship via DHL Express and I got my order within 4 days. Upon checkout you also pay all duties and taxes, so German customs do not charge you anything extra. You do need to have a credit card as that is the only payment option.

I hope you enjoyed this post. What is your favorite brand at Sephora?
