Since I am still recovering from that cold I caught last weekend, here is a quick little swatch of Colors By Llarowe - Purple Is My Crack.
Purple Is My Crack is described as a "blurple jelly base with holo micro glitters" and that description is pretty spot on. The base is quite sheer, so I had to do three coats to get it opaque. Also, this dries to a slightly dull and bumpy finish, but that isn't anything a good top coat cannot fix. I used Underground Nails Quickie top coat.
Purple Is My Crack was released with the Colors By Llarowe Summer 2014 collection. I do not know if this is a limited edition polish, but as of today, it is still available in their online shop and also at the European retailer Hypnotic Polish.
I can totally see why they released this polish with their summer collection. While it looks all nice and pretty in diffuse lighting, it shows its full potential in bright sunlight. Just look at those sparkles!
So if you like sparkles and purple is your crack, I highly suggest getting this beauty! The final result is so worth the extra effort of painting on three coats!
