Sally Hansen Beach Paradise collection

Hi everyone,

ever since I saw first swatches on US blogs I have been hoping that the Sally Hansen Beach Paradise collection would find its way to Germany, too. A few weeks later the whole collection arrived at my doorstep. Thanks to Sally Hansen Germany for that! So without further ado, let us have a look at these pretties!

Wedding Skittle Manicure

Hello everyone!

By the time you're reading this I will be munchin' on a pizza and watching Germany vs. USA during the soccer world cup. Are you following the world cup? I am not a huge soccer fan, but I love the social gatherings that come with these events.
On the last weekend of May two friends got married. For this special event I wanted to create some special nails that additionally went well with my dress (a deep burgundy 50's style dress with black polka dots). So red was a must and so were roses. I ended up with these red, black and gold skittle nails.

Weekly Roundup #4

Happy Sunday everyone!

This week has all been about the soccer (or football) worldcup - at least in my part of the world, where this sport is very popular. I am not a huge fan of it, but I like to watch it during the most important events. Whenever Germany plays, we meet with friends to watch the game - just like last night, where Germany was opposing Ghana. I didn't have time to paint my nails accordingly, so I tried something different and went with a Germany eye make up. For more (nail polish) things I've been up to this past week, click 'read more' :)

Oh, hey there :)

Formula X ~ Jolt

Hi there!

It's been a while, but I am finally back to the world of blogging. In the beginning of June I went on a trip to London for a few days and afterwards work kept my quite busy. Meh. But a post of all the pretty things I got while I was there is already in the making, so stay tuned for that! Today I want to show you what I wore on those 5 days in London. Since the weather was perfectly sunny by the time we left for our trip, I decided to finally pull out Jolt from the Electrics line by Formula X for Sephora. It is a super bright hot pink with blue-ish glass flecks in it <3 A shade perfect for summer!

Maybelline Bleached Neons ~ French Manicure

Happy Sunday everyone!

I finally managed to get hold of some of the Maybelline Color Show Bleached Neon polishes! Here in Germany we got only four of the colors and by the time I finally found them in my local drugstore the peach Sun Flare had already sold out. So from the remaining three shades I picked up Coral Heat 242 and Chic Chartreuse 244. I love that these polishes are not pastels, but not bright enough to be neon, either. They're something different in between all the neon collections that brands release every summer.

Hi there!

In one of my recent posts I already showed you two of the creme polishes from the new Manhattan limited edition called Club Nights. Today I want to share with you two of the five glitter nail polishes that come with this collection. The purple Violet Volcano and green Jungle Gem look gorgeous in the bottle and they're just as pretty on the nails. Let us have a closer look!

Maybelline Super Stay ~ Couture Orange

Hell-o everyone!

During my last trip to the drugstore I came across a display with four new (?) nail polish shades and matching lippes of the Maybelline Super Stay range. Since I love orange this summer season, I took the bright Couture Orange home with me. This creme finish polish claims to have a gel-like finish and wear for up to seven days. This is my first ever purchase of this range and I had big hopes for this polish, especially for the 8€ price tag!

Manhattan Club Nights ~ Flashy Sunrise & Coral Clubbeat

Happy Sunday!

Just in time for Summer Manhattan Cosmetics released a limited edition called Club Nights. This collection consists of 6 colorful creme shades, 5 sparkly glitters and two special effects top coat that will be available in the end of May for approx. 4 weeks - so grab them while you can!
Out of the six creme shades I have Flashy Sunrise and Coral Clubbeat for you. Flashy Sunrise is a medium orange shade. This is one of those colors that is hard to pull off with my pale skin tone. So I used Coral Clubbeat, a bright coral color that is right up my alley, as a base and added dots and stripes with Flashy Sunrise.
