Happy Sunday peeps,
I hope you're all having a great weekend so far! I have been out and about most of this weekend, hence only a quick post of Zoya Noir today. Sadly, I did not have the time for nail art lately, but I really hope I can find the time to try some of my new MoYou plates or my new indie polishes, which I bought during the New Year Sale over at Norway Nails.
Zoya Noir is part of a newer range of Pixie Dust polishes. The so called Ultra Pixie Dusts are a mix of the original Pixie Dust formula, as they are all one color, but with added large hex glitter particles like the Magical Pixie Dusts had. Does that make sense? I am not sure, but they're definitely pretty!
The Ultra Pixie Dust in Noir is a plum jelly base with red-toned purple hex glitter. It is definitely chunky, but still quite easy to work with. It covers completely with two coats. It does not dry as fast as the original Pixie Dust formula, but drying time still is good.
I like how the base dries to a matte finish, while some of the sparkles of the hex glitter still peeks through. Wear time is ok, it chipped on me quicker than the original Pixie Dusts, though, which wear like iron on me.
How do you like these chunky textured polishes? Or are you over the liquid sand style nail polish trend?
