Valentine's Day Nail Art Ideas

valentine nail designs

Valentine's Day is just around the corner and even though I am not a big fan of this day, I played with nail polish to come up with a few appropriate designs.

A classic hearts design always works for Valentine's Day. The base is OPI - The Thrill of Brazil, a squishy orange red with a great formula. The stamping was done with Mundo de Unas white and a design from MoYou Princess plate 11.

Next I did a pink and white gradient using Astor - Tickle My Pink and Essie - Marshmallow over one layer of Flormar matte white. For a sparkly textured finish I applied one coat of Dance Legend Top Sahara.

From KB Shimmer's Valentines collection 2014 I bought U Rock My <3, but I have never used it before. So it was about time to pull out this pink and black glitter topper. It has stars, hearts, circles and hexes in various sizes in a clear base. I sandwiched it between Essie - Marshmallow.

Last but not least I chose to go with a gorgeous red holographic nail polish. This is The Mighty Red Baron from Colors By Llarowe. This color is stunning! It is so sparkly, deep and glows from within. I need to do this justice and wear it as a full manicure soon.

What will be on your nails this Valentine's Day?
