[Swatch Spam] Hypnotic Polish Store Exclusives

holographic indie nail polish

Happy Sunday everyone!
Today I have a little holo spam for you. With my last order over at Hypnotic Polish I bought two more of their store exclusive indie polishes. Smitten Polish - Cherries and Chocolate has been on my wishlist for a while and CbL - Intrigue was just too pretty to pass on. I reswatched Smitten Polish - Elixir, so I can now show you all my Hypnotic Polish exclusive holos. Enjoy!
A little disclaimer before we dive into the swatches. All polishes are swatched over a layer of liquid latex and topped with one coat of Underground Cosmetics Quickie top coat. Unless stated otherwise, I painted my nails with two coats. The photos were taken outside in either sunlight or shade.

Let us start with said Elixir by Smitten Polish, which I already showed you a while ago. Elixir is a deep teal microglitter polish. The base is a sheer teal jelly loaded with holographic glitter. This one was the only one of the store exclusive holos that required three coats. It does dry to a slightly textured finish, but one thick layer of top coat will smooth it out.

I adore this color, I am always in the market for a pretty teal nail polish. Smitten Polish - Elixir has a scattered holographic finish that shows its full potential in direct sunlight. That being sad, it is just equally as pretty indoors or in the shade.

Also from Smitten Polish is Cherries and Chocolate, a reddish plum shade with a linear holographic finish. When I first saw swatches of this one, I knew I needed this nail polish in my stash. Purple/plum polishes are my favorites (right next to teals). Add an intense holo effect to the mix and I am sold.

The formula of Cherries and Chocolate is perfection - it glides on like hot butter and levels out nicely. Again, this holographic polish shows its true beauty in bright daylight. Even indoors or in the shade the effect is slightly visible. I am head over heels for this color and I am so glad  I got it.

Last but not least is Colors by Llarowe - Intrigue, a deep cool toned purple color. Already in the bottle the holographic rainbow looks intense and stunning. On the nails, it is even prettier. The holographic effect is much stronger in person than it appears in the photos below. Again, the formula on this one is very good and easy to work with.

The only thing that bugs me about this polish is the bottle and the price tag, respectively. My older bottles from CbL contain 15ml. The new bottles only hold 12ml, but still retail for the same price. Secondly, I am not a fan of their new logo, but that is just my personal taste and it really is the polish inside that counts, right?!

All the polishes I showed you today are exclusively available at Hypnotic Polish. Check out their website, as they offer some more store exclusive colors from Cadillacquer or Lilypad Lacquer.
Which one of the three is your favorite? Thank you for stopping by!
