Already last year, when the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel line first came out, I tried the color Dig Fig. I wasn't impressed with the product back then - it was patchy, not glossy at all and chipped horribly after 3 days already.
A few days ago I received some of their new shades to try and I hoped these would perform better, because the colors are pretty. The one color that stood out and screamed my name of course was Tidal Wave, a super vibrant cobalt blue color.
I can happily announce that the formula of Tidal Wave is much better than the one I experienced with Dig Fig. Tidal Wave covered evenly and completely with two coats. It was easy to apply. It dried fast, but I had some bubbling issues in a few spots. Maybe that is because I was too heavy handed with the top coat.
So far I have only swatched Tidal Wave, but I want to see how it wears and if it holds up better than Dig Fig. I have a few more colors from the Miracle Gel range to share with you, so watch out for swatches of those and a wear test in the near future!
In the US, Tidal Wave, along with the other shades from the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel range, can be found at Walgreens, Ulta, or Target. In Germany you find Sally Hansen at DM, Müller or Rossmann drugstores, as well as at Douglas.de. Do not forget to use these polishes with their special Miracle Gel top coat!
Have you guys tried the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel range? Let me know what you think of it!
