Summery Coral Nail Design

dry marble nail art

Happy Friday everyone,
just in time for the weekend the warm weather has started to come again. Actually, warm is an understatement. We went from clouds with 15°C to full on sun and 33°C in two days. Yikes. Time to pull out those sunglasses and SPF 50. Matching the sunny weather I did a bright manicure using coral shades and a beachy sea shell pattern.

For my base I used three different coral nail polishes: Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Coral Reef, Manhattan - Coral Clubbeat and Bissu - 224 Anturio. I used the plastic bag method to create a simply marble effect, applied one layer of HK Girl and let that dry. If you want to know how to get a marbled design with only a plastic bag, check out Spektorsnails tutorial here.

For the stamping I used the sea shell pattern from MoYou Sailor plate 07 and Essie's Penny Talk, one of my favorite polishes for stamping. The coppery color goes well with the warm coral shades.
Here are some shots of the marbled design before I stamped over it. It's subtle, but I really like it on its own, too.

I hope you enjoyed this design! Have a great weekend!
