Today I have two more polishes from the Coca Cola Icons of Happiness collection for you. There is some stamping nail art involved, too :D
OPI Coca Cola Red is - as the name suggests - inspired by the original Coca Cola. It is a classic bright red creme polish. The formula is a dream! It is pigmented and you can get away with almost one coat (shown in the pictures are two coats with top coat). It glides on like butter and is really easy to work with. If you do not own a vibrant red nail polish, go get this one! And if you already own a dozen red nail polishes, go and get this anyway. It is the perfect red nail polish in my eyes.
OPI Turn On The Haute Light, which is called My Signature is DC in the US collection, is a silver foil nail polish. I am not a huge fan of silver nail polish on its own. Instead, I tried to stamp with it over Coca Cola Red using two different images from Bundle Monster plate BM-316.
Turn On The Haute Light works well for stamping. I find it looks better when one uses images with "narrow" designs compared to images with larger areas, because the foil particles get concentrated more. Did that just make any sense? I hope you know what I mean. The image on my ring finger does not look as "pigmented" as the ones on my other three nails.
These polishes originally came out last year with the Coca Cola collection. To celebrate the 100th birthday of the classic Coca Cola bottle this year, OPI re-released some of the polishes along with two new limited edition shades.
The Icons Of Happiness collection is available at German retailers now until the end of August.
