OPI - Visions of Georgia Green

opi icons of happiness
Welcome to the first post of August! Wow, time is flying by super fast. August means we will see the first nail polish collections for Fall, Halloween decorations and candies show up in stores and at the end of the months we can buy the first Christmas sweets - which means Summer is coming to an end. Oh well, we still have four more weeks to go and I will enjoy summer while it lasts.

Today I have for you one of the new limited edition shades from the OPI Coca Cola Icons of Happiness collection. This beautiful pale green shimmer is called Visions of Georgia Green and is inspired by the original Coca Cola glass bottle, which celebrates its 100th birthday this year.

OPI Visions of Georgia Green is a pale bottle green shimmer polish with additional tiny shreds of glitter. The shimmer and the shreds have a slight duochrome effect and shift from green to a pale purple color. The shifting action is more visible in the bottle, but it is noticeable on the nail! In the bottle this one also looked like it would be frosty. It does show some brush strokes once applied, but there are polishes far worse than this (like That Silver's Mine! from this year's Soft Shades collection)!

In the macro shot above you can see the complex composition of this polish. Visions of Georgia Green is on the sheer side. I needed three coats to get it opaque. On a positive note, the individual coats dried fast, so it does not take too long to finish this manicure.

OPI Visions of Georgia Green and the other repromoted shades from the Icons of Happiness collection are out now and available at German retailers like Douglas. The bottle retails for 15.99€.
