Happy Monday! In yesterday's post I showed you Virgin Snow from the Essie winter 2015 collection. The star of the show for me however is Haute Tub, a black base with fuchsia shimmer.

When I saw the promo pictures of the Essie winter collection called Virgin Snow I was sure I wouldn't be getting any of those shades. I mean, the colors itself looked nice, but I certainly did not need another red nail polish (and I find lots of Essie's reds to be similar looking) and I am not in the market for silver foils or baby pinks either. Still I had to check out the collection as soon as it was released in German drugstores. I ended up buying a shade that is quite unusual for me, because I never fall for pastel colors as they hardly look good against my skin tone. Hence, I was surprised how much I liked Essie Virgin Snow on me.

Happy Thanksgiving to my US followers! I hope you're having a great day with your loved ones and a lot of scrumptious food. Thanksgiving also means Black Friday is coming up. We do not celebrate Thanksgiving in Germany today (it's in October over here), but Black Friday is slowly finding its way here. Mostly online shops have special offers on this day after the US Thanksgiving. If you're looking for a nail polish Black Friday deal check out the New York nail polish brand Madam Glam. I was sent some of their polishes to try and today I want to share with you Text Me Later.

Today I have for you a nail polish from a brand that is new to My Polish Stash. Please welcome Madam Glam, a growing nail polish and fashion brand from New York. I have seen swatches of their polishes on various blogs and instagram accounts, but to be honest I never researched the brand further. When the PR from Madam Glam reached out to me and offered to send me some of their polishes to try I took the opportunity to test drive some shades.

In my last post I showed you Chasing Shadows from the Anomalous Phenomena collection from Different Dimension. This sparkly blurple color was love at first sight, but to be honest it was Knock Once For Yes from the same collection that made me place my order.

Fall is my favorite season of the year. Not as far as the weather is concerned (which usually involves a lot of rain and wind over here), but more the overall mood that comes with it - the colorful falling leaves, early sunsets and cozy evenings with a steaming cup of tea and candlelight. I also prefer a comfy sweater and a warm scarf over a flowy summer dress and flip flops. Thus, it may come as no surprise that Fall nail polish collections are my favorites. One can never have enough deep vampy hues, rich reds or orange tones and saturated shimmers. This fall various indie brands knocked my socks off, one of them being Different Dimension with their Anomalous Phenomena collection. The deep and rich microglitter polishes were love at first sight. Today I have for you the blurple Chasing Shadows, which along with Knock Once For Yes is my favorite of this six piece collection.
