Happy Christmas Eve everyone! I hope all the Christmas preparations didn't stress you out and you can now enjoy a few peaceful days with your loved ones.
Shortly before Christmas I decided to go back to my beloved pointy nail shape. I did not take down any lenght, but almonds always look shorter than squares of the same length. Now these babies need to grow to my comfort length so I can file them even pointier, as I did this last summer.
Anyways, on to the nail design for today. I recently ordered a lot of nail art glitter from a German website called CreativeArts, which arrived today. I loved all those sparkly concoctions so much that I had to try them instantly in a nail design.
My base is three thin coats of Essie - Urban Jungle. I did not want to use a stark white nail polish and this eggshell creme polish looks much better against my pale skin tone. The Christmas lights pattern is from ÜberChic Christmas stamping plate, which I got from She Sells Sea Shells. I filled in the bulbs with Barry M Gelly in the shade Black Cherry and topped the wet nail polish with Scary Night glitter from CreativArts. For the stag head I applied a nail vinyl, also from She Sells Sea Shells, painted it with Barry M Gelly in Black Pistachio and added the CreativArts X-mas Cookie Glitter on top of it before peeling off the vinyl. As my top coat I used my Essie Gel Setter top coat.
What are you wearing on your nails for Christmas this year?
