24 days of Christmas - Eggnog Nails

eggnog nail design

For this holiday season I attempted some more free hand nail art. ILNP Spiced Eggnog from their current winter collection inspired me to paint these nails.

My base is two coats of ILNP - Spiced Eggnog, a lovely pale yellow base with a subtle holo effect and copper flakies. For the mug and the swirls I used acrylic paints. The good thing about acrylic paint is that you can whipe it off with rubbing alcohol when you mess up and start all over again without ruining the nail polish underneath.

ILNP Spiced Eggnog is such a unique nail polish, I have to show you this one on its own! The pale yellow shade may not be for everyone, but I do like it, even though it pulls out the red in my skin tone.
As with all ILNP polishes I have tried so far, the formula of Spiced Eggnog is amazing. It is easy to apply and dries perfectly smooth.

I am not the most talented painter, but I hope you enjoyed these. And now I need to wrap my Christmas gifts. Are you done with your Christmas preparations?
