On the future of blogging

Have you read Kelly's aka Vampy Varnish recent post about changes happening? I must admit her decision to cut down on blogging caught me off guard and even made me sad. Her blog was one of the first I started reading when I was first drawn into the world of blogs back in 2010. Vampy Varnish is a staple in the world of nail and beauty blogs and I hope she will gain her blogging mojo back at one point. However, I can see why she withdraws from blogging daily. Her post made me think about the blogosphere in general and my experiences with blogging in particular and encouraged me to finally write down the thoughts that have been going around in my head for a while.

Studded Biker Nail Design

studded nail design

Happy Sunday peeps!
I hope you all are having a fabulous weekend so far. Today I have for you a rock/biker inspired manicure I have been meaning to do for a while. I have seen various designs using spikey studs before and being a metal fan at heart, I had to try them myself. When the Blogger PR from Born Pretty Store asked if I wanted to try some of their products, it was the perfect opportunity to test out these silver spike studs. I decided to combine them in a black and silver manicure with biker themed stamping designs. Read on after the jump to learn how I created my studded biker nails.

a-England - Crown of Thistles & Stamping Design

amethyst purple nail polish

Happy hump day!
Today I have another stunning creation from a-England for you. Crown of Thistles was released as a part of the Elizabeth & Mary collection a while ago. I do not know what took me so long to order Crown of Thistles, because it is a stunning amethyst shade with a subtle holographic effect. And just like all other a-England nail polishes I own, this one did not disappoint.
