Essie - Really Red with F.U.N. Lacquer - Pay Day (H) glitter fade

red with silver nail art

Hello everyone, it has been quiet on the blog this past week, my apologies. If you follow me on my personal Instagram or Snapchat account (I am zabeenuh on both of them) you might know that I went to London for a week. My boyfriend and I wanted to take the opportunity to go on a little vacation before I am going to start my new job. If you are interested in seeing the things I picked up along the way let me know and I will shoot a little haul for you (spoiler alert: there is no nail polish involved. Bummer.).

Said job starts tomorrow morning and hence I took those past few days to prepare myself. I will be working with customers and (at least in the beginning) I will have to skip the hot pinks and neon greens on my nails and rock some "work appropriate" nudes and pinks. Fingers crossed I will be able to wear my usual colors once I have established a relationship with my customers and they realize colorful nails do not make me any less professional than a sophisticated nude.

Formula X for Sephora - Tide

blue suede nail polish

Happy Sunday, I hope you had an awesome week. This is my last scheduled post, because if everything goes according to plan I will return from London this evening. It is highly likely that I will have bought a variety of things while I was away. Let me know if you would like to see a haul and/or impressions from London on this blog!

Essie Mint Candy Apple & Sittin' Pretty gradient with swirly duochrome stamping

essie mint candy apple sitting pretty

It is nail art time again on My Polish Stash! Now that I have finally found the perfect stamper for me (review coming soon!), I've been into stamping a lot lately. For today's stamping mani I went with a summery lilac and mint gradient as a base and a swirly duochrome stamping on top.

Glam Polish - Pop!

knockout collection part 2 glam polish

Oh how I had to hunt for the Knockout collection from Glam Polish! When their European stockist Hypnotic Polish added the Knockout collection to their store, it sold out in minutes and I missed it. I had to wait another two or three months for a restock (might have been even longer) and in the meantime the second installment of the Knockout collection already came out. When both Knockout collection Part I and Part II were finally available, I threw a few shades in my cart and immediately placed my order.

Picture Polish - Scandal

purple jelly shimmer nail polish

Happy Sunday! How is your weekend going? I hope all is well. Today is a rather busy day for me, because I need to pack my bags for London where I'm going to spend the week. My boyfriend and I wanted to take a little break before I dive into my new job, which starts September 1st. I visited London last year (check out my London shopping tips here) and we both loved it so much that we knew we wanted to go back soon. While we saw most of the famous attractions last time, we want to explore the not-so-touristy areas so see the "real" London this time. If you would like to follow my trip, check out my personal instagram account @zabeenuh. I will post some photos from London while I am there. If I am not traveling, I post food and make up stuff.

Marbled Chevrons

colores de carol fun fun fun

While I am not a person that matches her nail polish colors to the season, I prefer wearing neons during summer when the sun is out. I recently did a dry brush manicure with some of the colors from the Beach Boys collection by Colores de Carol. I liked the colors so much that I had to do another manicure with them.

Starry Night Sky in a Bottle: Smitten Polish - Cauldron Bubble

black holographic nail polish

Good evening everyone, today I have a polish for you that does not quite go with the summer theme. No wonder, because it was released as part of a Halloween duo last year. But because it is a holographic polish that shows its full beauty only in direct sunlight - which we rarely get in Fall/Winter - it is totally appropriate to wear during Summer.

ILNP - 1UP Ultra Holo

lime green holographic nail polish

Howdy! I hope you're all having a great weekend. Today has been really warm and sunny here in Germany and I've been relaxing on our balcony most of the day (slathered with lots of SPF50 to keep me from burning within minutes). I recently bought more baking and cookbooks and my favorite Sunday "activity" is browsing through recipes for inspiration. By the way, if you're into baking American cakes and/or healhy eating I highly recommend United States of Cakes by Roy Fares and I Quit Sugar by Sarah Wilson. Okay, enough of the randomness, on to some seriously amazing nail polish!

Weird Lemons, Okay Cherries & OPI I Couldn't Bare Less!

cherries lemons nail art
Happy Friday! A whole while ago I bought a box of acrylic paints that were especially made for nail art. I haven't used it until today, because I am a total noob at free hand painting (and a not very talented one). However, I've been meaning to work on my nail art skills and because I am currently off from work and have a lot of free time on my hands, I pulled out that box o' paints and gave it a go.

Essie Silk Watercolor water marble nail art & review

watermarble tie dye nail art

Hey everyone,
for today's post I tackled the water marble technique once more. I have done water marble manis in the past, but they're not my favorite thing in the world (because I mess it up 90% of the time). Yesterday I received my Essie Silk Watercolor collection in the mail and I had to play with it immediately. In a YouTube video I saw someone marbling with them. They seemed to work quite well and I liked the way they looked, so I just gave it a try.

OPI - Visions of Georgia Green

opi icons of happiness
Welcome to the first post of August! Wow, time is flying by super fast. August means we will see the first nail polish collections for Fall, Halloween decorations and candies show up in stores and at the end of the months we can buy the first Christmas sweets - which means Summer is coming to an end. Oh well, we still have four more weeks to go and I will enjoy summer while it lasts.

Today I have for you one of the new limited edition shades from the OPI Coca Cola Icons of Happiness collection. This beautiful pale green shimmer is called Visions of Georgia Green and is inspired by the original Coca Cola glass bottle, which celebrates its 100th birthday this year.
